XxKurumi's Rurouni Kenshin Tv Review

Rurouni Kenshin is the whole deal. It is missing a little something, a bit in plot and music and animation, but together is very special. I have to say that this anime drew empathy from me so often. This is the ONLY anime to ever penetrate my dreams. Not only, we as viewers are even educated a little and made to think and to feel. I cannot say that I was profoundly touched, but I was touched either way. And as I said, it was special.

The best thing I can say about Rurouni Kenshin is that it was so well-rounded. Even if it was missing a little bit here and there, every element (plot, art and sound) were on equal levels. No one thing overpowered the other that I can remember. The teams responsible for this anime, Studios Gallop and Deen, created entertaining equilibrium.

XxKurumi's FLCL Tv Review

While it is true that I really do love FLCL, nothing deserves a perfect ten. FLCL is still far from perfect. Even though sound, animation, characterization and story are all there, it is hard to ignore how long they take to discover. Excuse the lame analogy, but FLCL is like a beautiful painting. If you have all the elements to a timeless painting, never showing it longer than a few seconds, is it really a beautiful painting? FLCL has all it needed, but its creators were too excited by it and needlessly rushed through. Still, I recommend FLCL to anyone with the patience to stumble upon something unexpected. Even though it may not be beautiful at first, good art takes time to appreciate. It really is worth the time.

XxKurumi's Porco Rosso Tv Review

Overall, despite Disney's dubbing, Porco Rosso, is in my opinion one of Ghibli's greatest achievements (on par with Mononoke-hime and Totoro). Although I hate to discredit other opinions, I was distraught to see many people found this film boring, wasteful, and rather dull. I will say with confidence that those who believe such things have either been dissatisfied with the English voicing and never have seen it in the original format or have simply been too lazy to look beneath the surface. Porco is simply not a pig because he floated in the sky; his outsides, literally, reflect his frank disposition. Honesty, if you fail to see the magic in this film perhaps you should view it again.

How are you been, rumi-san? I'm sorry to hear that you've been sick for this while. I'm so worried for you cuz I haven't receive any news from you lately. I think you need to take a rest first for your fast recovery. Bout HMC, don't worry I can take care of it. Nothing is more important that your health. Glad to know you are still doing well. Hey, how are you doing? XD I've been very busy doing some renovation.. urgh.. x_x hate to clean up after painting.. x_x

I've asked yuki-san or kuryuki to help with the new layout. And I bet she can gives our members a good surprise when she is done with it. Xd haha! XD

By the way, after the new layout is put up, can you make a welcome group banner? We have to wait for the new layout first incase the welcome banner doesn't suit with the layout. Is it fine to you?

And how's it going with your plans for HMC? I hope everything goes well for you. If you need any help please ask me! I will try my best! XD

Erm.. did you do something to the group page? I sense the background is a bit transparent than it used to be. And the font type.. its a bit like computer-font-type. Am I the only one who notice this? o_0

Just got my hands on the group button thingy. Group button dimension should be 88px × 31px gif file. Not sure about the size limit but will do well if it is not too big. :)

Oh no, its not your fault! ^_^' Its mine, you see I'm using IE8 browser and I'm not sure if this browser is the one at fault. I just have it yesterday. So, after a few clicks, MT is as normal as it would be. I just need to ask someone if this problem occur to other or just me alone. First I thought Kaitou-san is doing some experiment with the coding or something but she havent told me yet if she want to help fixing the new layout. I'm kind of waiting for her answer now. :\

And don't worry. If something really messed out, I will ask a mod to help. That's the good part of having moderators around in MT! XD Hehe.. X-P Infact, I'll try to ask a mod to help fix the new layout if that is necessary. But its all down to kaitou-san. I got to see her first.

Oh, I always look for maplerose for anything that I'm not sure about. She is a very nice friend and a good mod. I really like her. :) I'm glad to help you too! XD
